One BIG Difference Between Barack Obama And George Bush!

President Obama is studying the problem, talking to his advisors and international leaders,
so he can make the proper decision regarding sending more US troops into Afghanistan.
Obama is doing it the right way.

George Bush would have already launched a full scale invasion and would be
systematically killing hundreds of thousands of innocent Afghans. Bush would
have already engaged us in a full scale war with no active plan for success.

What a big difference!

While I usually support nearly every post you make, this one is an exception to the rule. Bush may have "engaged us in a full scale war with no active plan for success" but that, in and of itself, is the plan!

Perpetual war allows the executive and the government to assert their control over our population. Without the external forces (i.e. terrorists) scaring the shit out of whitey, Obama would have a much more difficult time subverting the general population and beginning regime change to a great socialist empire.

Its true Bush obviously wasn't smart enough to realize this potential opportunity, so I guess that is a big difference between them.

I understand Obama is reconsidering sending Muslim American Soldiers to Afghanistan and Iraq anymore. He feels it may be contrary to the strong faith he shares with them.
